Raymond James & Associates Appoints High Net Worth Advisor In Georgia

Raymond James & Associates, the broker/dealer subsidiary
of New York-listed Raymond James Financial, has taken on Cynthia Woodsmall
Jones as senior vice president of investments in Columbus, GA. Jones focuses on asset management for high net worth
individuals and families, and also advises on corporate retirement assets,
specifically 401 plans. Jones joins Raymond James from Morgan Stanley, where she managed
over $435 million in client assets and had some $1 million in annual fees and
commissions. She started her career in the financial services industry in 1981 at
Robinson-Humphrey & Co. Meanwhile, joining Jones is registered
sales associate Brenda Meadows, who is also latterly of Morgan Stanley. Meadows has over 33 years of financial industry
experience, including several years as an operations manager and complex risk
officer. In other recent news, last week Raymond James appointed James Hall as a retirement
team partner and financial advisor within the Green Financial Group, an
independent firm in Houston,
TX. Through its three broker/dealer
subsidiaries, Raymond James Financial has about 6,200 financial advisors across
the US, Canada and
overseas, with total client assets of about $412 billion.
